My name is Matthew J Wills, and I am an artist and game developer from Wellington, New Zealand.
I’ve been creating comics since I was about 6 years old, evolving from superheroes to fantasy to dramatic space operas about alien ghosts ascending to godhood.
I worked for almost a decade as a Senior Quality Assurance Tester at PikPok Games, helped create the game Clusterduck during an internal company gamejam and then moved on to license my own IP, Swords, as a card game which has now successfully shipped. I am now self-employed and looking for new opportunities.
When I’m not creating silly swords and strange monsters, you’ll usually find me sitting in a cafe somewhere drinking a long black or walking along Wellington’s scenic waterfront.
